Candace picked up her first watercolor brush a little over a year ago and was immediately hooked. The magic of watercolor spoke to her almost instantly, and she was soon devouring every resource available to develop my new-found passion. What started out as small subjects – birds, flowers – was quickly replaced by the breathtaking enormity of the landscape, be it nature or urban. Candace is constantly intrigued by the counterparts of light and dark, of nature and man-made, of water and sky, and strive daily to transfer these to paper.
